On April 28th 1978, Cheap Trick played to a sold-out frenzied audience at the famed Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, Japan. That incendiary performance was recorded and went on to become the bands breakthrough album reaching #4 on the U.S. Billboard Charts and selling over 3 million copies.
To honour the 35th Anniversary of “At Budokan”, Cheap Trick will perform the album in it’s entirety at Varvatos 315 Bowery in NYC on April 28th and The El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles on April 30th, 2013.
